A few years ago I was chatting with a friend and newly become mother who mentioned that she began making homemade deodorant to avoid harmful chemicals found in many store-bought items, especially given the proximity of the baby to that area. I found this intriguing and began doing my own research, quickly realizing that the ingredients found in most deodorants on the market aren't the only problem - it's virtually almost every single product we use! I was truly in shock at the amount of known harmful chemicals added to cosmetics and skincare products. I thought to myself, "why is it when we are shopping for baby products, we consider doing extensive research wanting only the most natural, chemical-free, and organic products for our baby? Yet for ourselves, we tend to not apply the same level of due diligence for the products we use." Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself! Flip through some of the current products you have. Chances are there are some "not-so-great" ingredients listed. If all your products are organic, truly natural, and preservative-free then that’s excellent! You've definitely been doing your skin a favor and I hope you continue to do so!

With all of this in mind, I sought to create a company that would be 100% natural as our skin not only deserves it but needs it. I began with creating homemade skincare products for myself (through extensive research of course) and soon created my first functional body butter. My main doubt with natural products was assuming they wouldn’t be as effective as their competitors, however, I was very wrong! Once I realized this, it was a no-brainer to continue creating my own products and expanding the product line further to create face serums, deodorants, lip balms, face cleansers, etc. - I figured why stop at body butter? While initially I started preparing these natural products just for myself, I eventually started handing them out to family and friends throughout the years who have also grown to love the products. From the hard work, endless research, and love and support of family and friends, this ultimately gave me the confidence and drive to create the brand before you. After years of substantial research, multiple formulations, and extensive product and safety testing, we officially launched L’Vitsa Skincare Inc. At our company, we believe that everyone should be able to use 100% natural skincare products with peace of mind and without worrying about where ingredients were sourced, or the number of chemicals and preservatives in the products.
